Rapper Keak Da Sneak is currently hospitalized in critical condition afterward being shot several times.

The shooting of the 39-year-old Oakland rapper went down on Monday (August 21) but details are still sketchy. Sneak, whose real name is Charles Williams, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at an abandon gas station in Oakland. Cops say they responded to a 911 telephone call near shots fired in the vicinity around five:xxx a.m. on Monday. The rapper was transported to a local infirmary where he underwent surgery and is even so in critical condition.

Cops say that they are investigating the shooting but so far no abort has been made. "They're working around the clock on this case," Richmond Police Lt. Felix Tan said (via East Bay Times). "Nosotros're hoping to talk to the victim every bit soon every bit he gets recovered enough to speak with u.s.."

Keak Da Sneak performed at a concert at a local venue on the dark before the shooting, the general manager of the venue confirmed. Following his well-received operation, the rapper left with his wife and other family members. A boyfriend rapper from the Bay Area proper name Mistah F.A.B. also posted a video on Instagram weighing in on the shooting incident. He has since deleted the video but not before some media outlets got a agree of information technology.

Keak Da Sneak was shot back in January and survived. He famously posted a video of himself performing at an event two days later while using a crutch to walk.
